Gedeo – “Tedayo”

Negarit Band’s single “Tedayo” is based upon traditional vocals of Gedeo women while they harvest the Inset plant. Negarit Band creatively and experimentally uses intense timbalese solo without the core essence of traditional Gedo music which is then immediately followed by vocal samples of the indigenous tribe.
